Applied Energy Technologies (AET) Selected to Provide Solar Racking for BayWa r.e.’s First U.S. Solar Project, a 6.9 MW Ground-Mount System

North Carolina – December 3, 2015 – Applied Energy Technologies (AET), a preferred supplier of commercial and utility-scale racking systems and one of the top 10 solar racking companies in the United States, was selected to supply the racking systems for BayWa r.e.’s first three solar installations in the United States. The projects total 6.9 MW and are located in Selma, Newton Grove and Smithfield, North Carolina. AET is providing its Rayport™- G ECO ground mount system for all three projects.

We are proud to have been chosen by BayWa r.e.”

AET’s Rayport™-G ECO is UL listed and is rapidly becoming an industry standard for developers and EPCs looking for a ground mount system that is easy to install, scalable and delivers a significant savings on total installed costs.

“AET’s Rayport™-G ECO was a smart choice for these projects,” said Jam Attari, CEO at BayWa r.e. “AET had the best quality and ease of installation for the price. We have a great deal of confidence in the team at AET.”
